Seaside Park fishing is hot

Although the weather has not been the best this week with rain and high winds the fishing has been outstanding. The seasbass bite has been nothing short of incredible in terms of both numbers and quality. On 7/16 due to forecasted high winds I checked out a different area than I have previously been fishing. This new area is also loaded with fish and the quality was very impressive with many 14 to15" fish and tops going close to 3lbs. The 2 man charter of experienced fisherman (Nikki and Pat) hammered the nice fish before the winds forced us back to the calm protected waters of the bay. The 2 anglers managed to box their 50 seabass limit but with building seas we were unable to make a blackfish drop. Looks like the toggies will have to wait a few days to get a free ride inside a cooler. A quick stop in the bay produced non stop fluke action on light tackle but no keepers. The bay fluking is about as good as it gets for light tackle action. It is perfect for the young or new angler with short boat rides, calm waters, and amazingly fast action. Please call or email for more info on any trips we offer. Thanks for looking

On 7/13 it was Blackfish Doug ,Bill and Matt for an all day charter. The weather forcast was not the best with some storms heading our way so we would have to make it a short trip. A quick run to an inshore wreck produce good action and put over a dozen seabass on ice before the winds sent us back to the bay. The calm protect waters of the bay produced non stop action with short fluke and a handful of keepers. The 3 anglers released more the 60 fluke and boxed 3 nice keepers (19",19.5",20") before the weather sent us back to the dock at 11am. Today, 7/14 with more threatening weather we managed to squeeze in a trip for Alex and Christan. During a small weather window the 2 anglers enjoy a very good bite on the inshore ocean wrecks. Plenty of 12 inch fish but enough keepers to keep them smiling. They boxed a 2 angler limit of 50 seabass and a few ling without a drop of rain falling in our area. The anglers also released a few blackfish and a short cod. A great day spent with some good friends. We still have a few dates left in August for any of the trips we offer including our one of a kind "Bounty of the Bay" family special trips. Please call or email for more details. Plenty of new pictures in the gallery. Thanks for looking
