2010 update

Hello and I hope all are having a great new year. We are close to putting the finishing touches for the up coming 2010 season. We will offer many of the same great trips that we have  caught so well with in the past and have added a few new exciting ones. We are also pleased to announce the addition of a new custom bow casting platform for more space and comfort. This platform will come in very handy for the one of a kind fluke fly fishing trips we will be offering this year. Yep you read it right. Fluke on a fly and yes it can be done!!!!! Look for more details in the trip section soon.  We will also be running our very popular family fluke trips from late July right through Aug. The 2009 season saw many first time fishing families land 50 to 75 fish in just a couple of hours on the calm protected waters of Barnegat Bay and we expect 2010 to even better. As some of you may be aware there is some major changes  concerning bag limits and seasons to many to the fish we target. After coming off of one the best  summer seabass seasons that we have ever had it is with much disappointment to see as off 1/1/10 the the 2010 seabass season will only be 60days long. The months of June and Sept only.  As summertime seabass is our number one specialty this is very bad news. There is a chance of  some changes and I will post any updates or check out this great organization I am a member of www.unitedboatmen.com  . We will be  sailing every day of June (weather permitting) targeting seabass and trips are filling up fast. Give a call or email if you want a shot at filling a box with tasty fillets during this very short season. This season will also see a few more Jumbo summertime blackfish trips. Last season produced  plenty of fish with tops being a 10.4 lber. Shorts tee shirt and jumbo tog. As always Fishguts Inshore Charters will work hard to provide a safe memory filled pleasurable charter experience at a value packed price. We love to help people catch fish and we hope it shows. Thanks for looking and check back often.
