On 6/2 I had Phil K and his wife Pauline out the inshore wrecks for some more seabassing. Phil had limited out last week with fish to 4.4lbs and was looking to added to his freezer supply. After boxing a few nice fish on the first dropped Pauline decided that ocean fishing was not for her. So a quick trip back to the inlet to drop her off and a run back out the wrecks for some catching. With a 12:30 return time Phil went right to work catching some nice fish. No real great shots at fish but a nice pick of good size stuff. With time running short and Phil a few fish shy of his legal limit we hit one more drop on the way in. It turned out to be a good stop with a 4lber (20") and 2 three pounders to finish of his limit. I even managed to grab a few myself for dinner. It looks like Phil will have plenty of fillets for his freezer. Still some prime dates in July open for 10 hour inshore wreck trips. Thanks for looking and check out the photo gallery.

On 6/31 I had the pleasure of having Brandon and Brian out for a short morning trip to the seabass grounds. The seas were flat and calm but the bite was a little slower than the lights outs fishing we have been experiencing. Still it was good fishing by any standard with plenty of nice quality fish. In a few hours the guys had close to 2 dozen nice seabass to 2.75lbs in the box and hit the dock before lunch time. Good luck guys in your upcoming football seasons. We had good readings on a few spots and that should mean great fishing in the upcoming weeks. We target seabass all summer long. Last July was one of our best months for quailty seabass in the past few years and this one is shaping up to be just as good. Still some prime July dates available for our 10 hour wreck trips. We will start offering our bay fluke trips when fluke fishing starts to heat up and plan on starting our family special 'Bounty of the Bay" trips when the fishing is on fire. On our "Bounty of the Bay" trips we look to offer the young or new fisherman the chance to catch plenty and keep the rods bending. Please call or email for details on any trip we offer. Thanks for looking

Today I had the pleasure of having return customers (now friends) Mike and Alison along with Alison's dad to round out the three person charter. We were greeted at the the inlet with a tight chop with an east swell that laid down as the morning wore on. We made a few quick drops with only a handful of keepers to show for it when I decided to check out a new area. Results were good with plenty of life and some nice quality fish up to 20" along with tons of empty hooks coming up. Alison's dad had the hot hand with plenty of keepers. They had planned to fish a short day and supply a BBQ with plenty of fresh fish. At 11 am and with 30 keepers to 20" in the box they decided they had plenty tasty fillets for the party. It did feel a little strange heading in early without a boat limit and plenty of daylight left but that's why its called a custom charter. Not only are they 3 good fisherman , they are also 3 great people and I look forward to fishing with them again. Check out the Gallery for some nice pictures. Plenty of trips coming up and plenty of reports coming. Now is the time book your July wreck trips. We fish for and catch good numbers of quality seabass all summer long. Thanks for looking
